I don't know, but the original <a href="https://swannee.dreamwidth.org/139283.html">Fannish Fifty</a> post says I can post on anything for 50 fan posts in 2023, so here goes.<br /><br />I believe my husband first learned about the drink called Dark and Stormy through some Lovecraftian podcast he listens to (possibly the <a href="https://www.hplhs.org/voluminous.php">HPLHS</a> but don't quote me). He made one for me, albeit the weaker barely a drinker version, and I was impressed. It's basically a mix of ginger beer, dark rum, and lime juice. The podcast he listened to suggested <a href="https://www.krakenrum.com/#">Kraken Rum</a> and Bundaberg ginger beer from Australia. It's yummy. Check out the recipe on the <a href="https://www.bundaberg.com/en-us/cocktail/rum-ginger/">Bundaberg site</a>.<br /><br />Being from Michigan, it feels almost sacrilegious not to suggest Vernors ginger ale, but I don't think it would work in this drink at all.
