I've started medication for pre-diabetes as well as more exercise and better food choices. It's not an unexpected diagnosis. I've kicked the pop every day habit. I had it once last week when we were out. I still have unsweetened sparkling water with True Lime products and occasional juice or iced tea.

Things are so-so at work. I thought my stress was all me, but I've learned others feel the same. There are red flags I should have paid attention to, sigh. I'm not leaving. I'm going to do my best, stick it out, and see where it goes as long as I can.

It keeps threatening to snow, lol, in May after I've already done the first lawn mowing of the year. I've also put a new composter in the yard called the Earth Machine) to replace my two DIY bins (which you can see in this photo on Instagram behind the bean trellis). Spring can stick around anytime.

I like water with a little bit of orange blossom water in it. no sugar. orange blossom water is kind of a cross between orange zest and a floral taste. it's in the import aisle and it's like 2 or 3 bucks a bottle.

getting covid helped me cut way down on pop. it made my favourite pop taste so bad it's undrinkable, going on almost 3 years now.
