Bridget the German Shepherd has had two cyst removal surgeries this year, and she'll likely need a third. We're, as usual, doing the best we can to doctor her so she doesn't get an infection until we can get the surgery appointment.

Michigan has had sustained heat, at least for Michiganders. I'm a heat wimp. I'm sure someone from Arizona would scoff at our heat. We're supposed to get a break next week.

Work is going okay. I'm always nervous when I only have one contract though. I just can't bring myself to look for a second one. I'm tired.
