Random and That Voice (Fannish Fifty 26)

I made turkey bone broth overnight in the crock pot. Some of it went in our turkey soup for dinner. I placed the rest in mason jars for the fridge and freezer jam containers for the dog. I don't know if all the hype about the health benefits of bone broth is true, but it's definitely tasty, and the dog likes it on her kibble.

I'm still wearing only a sweatshirt outside. I'm not complaining mind you. It's just surreal.

Fannish Fifty 26: YouTube suggested some videos from the newest Natalie Merchant album, and I'm so glad they did. Her voice is still marvelous. She's collaborated with an artist named Abena Koomson-Davis, and they sing beautifully together.

I've always liked natalie merchant. and wow I like abena's voice. it kinda actually reminds me of natalie's voice back in the 90s.

I do bone broth every now and then. I have a big freezer compartment and whenever I eat something that leaves bones or a carcass I freeze them. even kfc. :-p when I have enough I chuck it all in a pot of water and boil it down. sometimes I'll buy bones but mostly it's leftovers.
