Amtrak dreaming

Mom is not a fan of plane travel. My aunt has finally worn her down about going to visit her in Oregon though. So I'm doing research on Amtrak travel for her (since she's not too big on technology either). Besides checking out the Amtrak website, I found this informative YouTube channel by an empty-nester couple sharing their adventures. It's a tips and tricks guide for first-time Amtrak travelers. I doubt mom will consider taking the trip until later this year or next year, so I have time to find out more for her. She's slow, walks with a cane, and will be going alone. So I'm going to find info regarding accessibility as well.
