Sunshine Challenge - Iris Prompt

I just came across the Sunshine Challenge, and I thought it would be fun to participate. The first prompt is called Iris. My contribution is a photo of irises I have in my yard that are descendants from ones my grandmother planted at my mom's house sometime in the '90s. They're seen here against a backdrop of forsythia leaves.

Oooo, blackcatofmisery also shared some generational irises with us, which is pretty cool that flowers can connect families like that. They're quite pretty, too.
