For the 15th installment of the Fannish Fifty challenge, I bring you more food fare in the form of B. Dylan Hollis. He bakes vintage American (mostly) recipes and shares the history behind them with flair. I always love to see his reaction when something that sounds like it's going to be horrible turns out to be good. Admittedly, his reactions when they taste terrible are pretty cute too. I believe his channel started on TikTok, but the embed feature isn't working, so here's one on YouTube about tomato soup cake.

I like him - too bad he only has 6 videos. if you like that kinda thing, check out 'emmymade' and 'great depression cooking'. different flavours of vintage cooks.

I have a few great cookbooks you'd get a kick out of too. old community cookbooks from little towns and villages in saskatchewan. dishes with humble names like 'betty's meatloaf'. :-) I pick these up cheap at garage sales and used book stores.

I love community cookbooks! You can find some gems in them. Thanks for the channel recommendations. I've seen Clara's channel, but emmymade is new to me.
